* Peter Olson served for 32 years as the curator, collections manager, exhibit designer, packing and shipping department and truck driver for the Northern Illinois University Art Museum in DeKalb. Since retiring last year he has worked with the DeKalb County History Center on a collections organization project. Back in the Twentieth Century, he attended Miami University in Ohio were he majored in both painting and printmaking; minoring in film studies. Visual culture has always been Peter’s deep interest; he is now working on a book on the art of vintage food can labels.
